ABOUT THE ARTIST: AMY WADE (nee, Frewin)
My journey as an artist started when I was born in the South Island. I moved up to New Plymouth with my family in 1980 & enjoyed creative time at primary school so I chose to study art right through high school too. My first sale was one of my A1 school c art boards and I was the happiest 15 year old ever.

After school I travelled around a bit, but I was always drawn back to my friends & family, and the landscape in Taranaki.

I have been painting & making and selling jewellery at markets and retail outlets for about 12 years. I am passionate about making quality jewellery for individuals specific requirements, especially weddings.
